Connect your eBay account
Link your eBay seller account so sales, listings and fees flow into Lotmaster, and reconnect or disconnect it.

Connect your eBay seller account in Settings → eBay and fees, then approve Lotmaster on eBay's own page. Once it's connected, eBay sales mark your items sold, your active listings can be imported, and you can list and change listings from Lotmaster.
Only the shop's owner can connect, reconnect or disconnect eBay. Helpers can see the page and use Check eBay now.
Connect eBay
- Open Settings → eBay and fees. On a phone, tap the More tab, then Settings, then eBay and fees. On a computer, click Settings in the sidebar, then eBay and fees.
- Tap Connect eBay.
- eBay opens. Sign in with the eBay account you sell from, and approve the connection.
- eBay sends you back to Lotmaster, which says "Connected to eBay as" and your eBay user name.
The setup wizard has the same button on its Connect eBay step. If you don't sell on eBay, tap I don’t use eBay there to skip it.
Straight after connecting, Lotmaster reads your active eBay listings, so they're waiting for you in Sell → eBay imports.
What the page shows once you're connected
- Connected, with the eBay account and the date you connected.
- How many days until eBay asks you to sign in again. The connection renews itself until then.
- When Lotmaster last checked your Listings, Sales and Fees on eBay. A check that went wrong says Failed, with eBay's reason underneath.
- List from Lotmaster: Allowed when you can list from the app.
- Instant sale alerts: On: sales arrive within minutes when eBay tells Lotmaster about your sales as they happen. If it says Not on yet. The app tries again every day., sales still arrive through Lotmaster's regular checks, only more slowly.
- Fees from eBay: On: profit uses what eBay charged when Lotmaster can read your real eBay fees.
Check eBay now looks at your eBay listings and sales straight away, instead of waiting for the next check.
Sales from before you connected
Lotmaster picks up eBay sales from the time you connect. Sales made on eBay before that aren't brought in.
One eBay account per shop
An eBay account can only be connected to one Lotmaster shop at a time. If yours is connected to another shop, you'll see "That eBay account is connected to another shop. Disconnect it there first, or sign in to eBay with a different account."
The connection goes to the shop you're working in. If you switch shops while you're on eBay's page, Lotmaster stops and asks you to connect again from the right shop's Settings.
When to reconnect
Reconnect when:
- the page shows a red note that eBay asks you to sign in again by a date (it appears in the last 30 days),
- a row says Needs a reconnect to allow it or Needs a reconnect to turn on,
- or the app tells you "The eBay connection has expired" or "eBay no longer accepts the saved connection".
To reconnect:
- Open Settings → eBay and fees.
- Tap Reconnect.
- Sign in to eBay with the same account as before, and approve.
Your items, listings and sales in Lotmaster stay as they are.
Disconnect eBay
- Open Settings → eBay and fees.
- Tap Disconnect.
- Confirm. Lotmaster warns you that sales won't be picked up until you reconnect.
Your items stay in your inventory and nothing changes on eBay. Listings that were waiting in Sell → eBay imports leave that list, and come back when you reconnect.
If it doesn't connect
- "eBay connection was cancelled": you didn't approve on eBay's page. Tap Connect eBay again.
- It says the connection expired: you took a while on eBay's page. Start again from Connect eBay.
- "Couldn’t connect to eBay. Try again in a few minutes.": eBay didn't answer properly. Wait a few minutes and try again.
- "eBay refused the connection", with a reason: write to us through Help & chat and include the reason.
