List an item on eBay
List an item on eBay from Lotmaster as Buy It Now or an auction, with its category, item specifics and photos, and relist it if it doesn't sell.

Open the item and tap List on eBay. You pick a category, fill in what eBay needs, choose Buy It Now or an auction, let eBay check it, then tap List it now. The listing goes live straight away and stays linked to the item.
Before you start
- eBay must be connected in Settings → eBay and fees.
- Your eBay account needs a shipping, a payment and a return business policy. See Set up eBay business policies before listing.
- The item needs at least one photo.
If something's missing, the List on eBay page tells you what and where to fix it.
List it
- Open the item. Tap the eBay tile (it says Not listed), or tap the ⋯ button and then List on eBay.
- 1 Category: eBay suggests categories from the title. Pick one. If none fit, type a few words in Search all categories and tap Search.
- 2 Condition and details: pick a Condition. Fill in the item specifics. Anything eBay requires says eBay needs this. Lotmaster fills in what it can from the item's fields where the names match. Less common details are under More details. Add wear or flaws in Condition notes.
- 3 Listing: check the Title (80 characters at most). Pick Buy It Now or Auction and set the price (details below). The Description is built from the item's own text; tap Edit to change it for this listing.
- 4 Photos and shipping: all the item's photos go to eBay, main photo first. Pick your Shipping, Payment and Returns policies, and check Ships from ZIP. Add the packed weight and box size if your shipping policy charges by weight.
- Tap Check with eBay. Lotmaster uploads the photos and eBay checks the listing without putting it live. You'll see "eBay checked it. Nothing is live yet." with any listing fees, or what eBay wants changed.
- Tap List it now and confirm.
You're taken back to the item, which says Listed on eBay and now has the status listed.
If you change anything after the check, check it again before listing.
Buy It Now or auction
Buy It Now
- Price: what buyers pay.
- Take offers: on to the start. Turn it off if you don't want offers.
Auction
- Starting bid, and Length: 1, 3, 5, 7 or 10 days.
- Buy It Now, optional: at least 30% over the starting bid.
- Reserve, optional: the lowest you'll accept. eBay charges for a reserve.
Lotmaster remembers whether you last used Buy It Now or an auction, and the auction length, on that phone or computer.
Items with several copies
Buy It Now lists every copy you have, at the price each. Each sale in Lotmaster or on eBay takes one off, and the listing ends when the last one sells.
An auction always sells one copy. The others stay in Lotmaster; list them separately or use Buy It Now.
Listings that ended without selling
When an eBay listing ends unsold, the item stays listed in Lotmaster. Its eBay tile says Ended and Didn’t sell. Lotmaster notices on its next check of your listings.
All of them are on the Ended unsold page. On a computer, it's the ended unsold button beside the Sell heading. On a phone, it's the ended unsold tile at the bottom of Sell → eBay imports.
Relist one item
- Open the item and tap the eBay tile, or ⋯ then Relist on eBay.
- Change the Price, or for an auction the Starting bid, Length and Buy It Now, optional. The old price shows under each one.
- For an auction, tap Check with eBay first.
- Tap Relist it now.
Photos, description, category, item details and shipping stay the same. eBay gives the new listing a new item number, and Lotmaster keeps track of it.
Relist several at once
- Open Ended unsold.
- Tick the items, or tap Select all.
- Tap Relist and the number as they were, and confirm.
They go back up at the same price and settings. To change one item's price first, tap Edit… on its row.
Replace it with a new listing
To change the title, photos or category too, tap Make a new listing instead at the bottom of the relist page. That opens List on eBay, which makes a new listing to replace the old one.
If it says it already sold
A listing with several copies can end with some sold. You can relist or replace it once Lotmaster has recorded every copy sold on eBay. If it hasn't yet, the page says so. Those sales usually arrive within a few minutes, so try again then.
